While looking for opportunities for my son to compete in athletics events - I found it frustrating to not know who to ask questions about specific events and venues.
I also frequently get asked questions from kids and parents at our athletics club about competitions and carnivals and figured that having a central place to discuss and share information would be great.
I also love taking photos and video of events my son competes at - so having a place to share these with others who may not have their own record of events will be great.
Just as a bit of history - I have nearly 20 years experience running online communities, starting with the Somersoft property investment discussion forums back in 2002; then ZooChat zoo and animal conversation forums in 2003; PropertyChat property investment discussion forums in 2015 and various other small or private forums inbetween, which I run on behalf of my family and my clients.
